London's Bankside & Canary Wharf: One & Two-Day Tours 

One-Day Tour (Suggested Itinerary): Local pick-up & travel to London to visit:
  • Millennium Bridge:  Opened in June, 2000, the bridge is a point of access to Bankside.
  • Globe Theatre:  The original was part of 16th & 17th century London's theatre district.
  • The Anchor:  The last surviving riverside inn of Shakespeare's day, The Anchor was the haunt of pirates & smugglers. Samuel Pepys watched the Great Fire of London here.
  • The Clink Prison:  Opened in 1144, its name became a slang word for prisons everywhere
  • Golden Hinde II:  Ocean-going replica of Drake's ship.
  • Borough Market:  There has been a market on this site for over 800 years.
  • Tower Bridge:  The Tower Bridge Exhibition covers engineering, history & the economic & demographic factors leading to the bridge's construction.
Depart from Bankside & return to drop-off point(s).

Two-Day Tour (Suggested Itinerary): If you would like to extend your tour, we suggest the following:
  • Day One:  Visits, as above, from Millennium Bridge to Tower Bridge.
  • Overnight 3* star B&B accommodation in London. Twin rooms with en-suite facilities.
  • An evening meal can be added to your stay if required.
  • Day Two: Explore Canary Wharf & find out how the former docklands area of the East End has been transformed since the closure of the West India Dock in 1980.
  • Opportunity for lunch before departure.
Afternoon departure from London & return to drop-off point(s). Additional visit(s) can be added in the afternoon if time permits or you don't mind a late evening return.
